New Member and New Student at Baylor University in Waco

Hello everyone, I am Brandon and I am new to the BiggerPockets community. I am a new student at Baylor and I am planning on building my real estate knowledge so I can begin investing next summer. I am interested in real estate because my parents have some experience with rental properties and I am hoping to avoid the 9-5 job when I graduate (or at least avoid working for someone else for too long). I am a very driven individual having gone to a collegiate high school where I earned my Associates degree by age 18. I will be maintaining an internship with Daisy brand's (the sour cream company) sales division. I am interested in any learning opportunities in my local area and would love to learn the ropes by assisting a current investor by searching for deals, assisting in property rehabs, or anything else. I am looking forward to learning and giving back to the community as much as I can, thank you guys!
