Best College Major
Hey guys, I'm 17 and just got into real estate investing about 6 months ago. I have since got my dad on board and we just got an offer accepted on our first rental property, a duplex. Anyways my major goal is to be financially free at as young of an age as possible. As I enter my senior year and look at colleges I'm seeing two potential options. I can attend an expensive public school about 28k a year and major in real estate (their program is number 2 in the country). At this school I feel I would graduate with a low paying career in real estate. Also because it is in a big city I couldn't afford to buy a house to hack. My other option is I can attend a much cheaper school only about 15k a year and go for engineering and come out of college get a high paying career. I could also afford a property at this school and house hack with other students. So what's the better option expensive school with low paying career in real estate, something I love or the cheaper school with a higher paying job in something maybe I don't like as much. Thanks for reading, any replies would be greatly appreciated.
