My name is Jason Westerkamp and I have no experience with real estate investing. I’m from Conroe, Tx, I’m an engineer for a major oil and gas operator in Houston, TX. I want to build a rental portfolio of at least six houses in the next 3 years. I also hope to develop relationships and partnerships with other investors in my area. I found BiggerPocktes by searching through my pod cast app and decided to listen to a few episodes, now here I am.

Welcome to BP, @Jason Westerkamp. Since you're new I would suggest you spend a lot of time listening to podcasts and reading up. Don't spend any other money on education quite yet because there are a lot of 'free' intro classes that get offered out there with quick upsale to $299 weekend deals which upsale to thousand dollar programs. You don't need any of that yet. Save your money, get a free education and then you can decide later if any of those are worth your time.
