@Alvaro Alvarado, welcome to BP! Another great way to network with investors and potential find a mentor is to get involved with the local REIA. I haven't attended a REIA meeting in El Paso, but just up the road in Las Cruces there is a great group of Real Estate Investors that meet monthly. We meet the 1st Thursday of the month. Typically there is a short presentation on a particular topic followed by a meet and greet session. The group is filled with knowledgeable, experienced investors.
