New to the Real Estate Realm

Hello!  My name is Danny Patterson and I have been studying and reading up on real estate investing.  I am a newcomer looking for a different way of life.  My background is Army first then pursuing the diesel tech industry.  Once I realized that this was no work to live past 60, starting from a young age, I started career jumping.  From industrial maintenance to QA/QC inspecting in the welding field.  At the age of 33 after becoming a inspector supervisor, and getting fired for a company that I dedicated my time and effort to make this company the best of the best, I mean 70+ hour work weeks, I was canned for nonsense.  I was too busy trying to make a living by making someone else wealthy.  Why can't I put that much effort into myself?  Start investing in myself?!  I am almost ashamed, now at 33, I just figured this out.  Real estate is where it's at!  I have done my research since I lost my job on the 1st of July.  I am so confident in this type of investing that I have taken every 401K that I have put in throughout my years to invest.  Now I need to surround myself with the experts, or the one's that have tried and failed.  Learn from their mistakes.  Make my own mistakes.  I want out of this rat race I have been pursuing.  I was taught to get a good job only to work for someone else, well guess what...?  I don't want that anymore!!  I am ready to break boundaries!  Get out of my comfort zone and work for myself.  If I can work just half as hard as I have for other people, I know I can pursue my dreams... Finally!
