Hello BP,

I am excited to join this community, thank you Josh and Brandon for all free podcasts, they are awesome and really helpful. The main reason I am looking at real estate is the possibility for financial freedom. Working 8-4:30 isn't getting me there any time soon. I do not know where to start and what to do but, my goal is to buy and hold and eventually get to a $5k/month net income. Any advice is welcomed and appreciated.

The big question that I have is weather or not I should get my Real Estate license? I know how much it costs to get it and hold it. Does it makes sense for me to get it and will it be helpful in my market area? I will be keeping my full time job (from podcasts it seems important to have W-2 income), and try buy/sell real estate on the side (if it is possible in my area).

Please advice and lead me into the right direction.

Thank you,

Mike
