Hello there BiggerPockets community! I'm Matt and I just recently joined the BiggerPockets community after starting to read The Book on Rental Property Investing. Currently I work as a teacher, but I have wanted to get involved in real estate investing for a number of years. I have done some research over the last couple of years but finally feel I have the time to seriously start working on it. My goal is to eventually gain financial freedom (teachers generally don't have this option if they only teach!) so that I can travel, work for fun or part time, and most importantly have money to support my family if something were to happen to me. I am new to this but a quick learner and willing to work my butt off so please say hi and connect with me! Looking forward to meeting some awesome people on here!
