I've spent the last seven years working as an accountant in corporate America and I've come to the conclusion that relying on one stream of income won't allow me to reach my financial goals.

I became interested in RE investing about three years ago but out of fear I didn't follow through with educating myself. But, my most recent layoff , due to a company merger, forced me to reexamine my financial future.  So I did a Google search and clicked on BP and attended the Wednesday webinar. Brandon Turner gave me hope that I could follow through this time.  He didn't leave me with the impression that I would get rich overnight but he gave the motivation to not give up this time.

So, each day I'm going to commit to educating myself. 1) I've dusted off the book I purchased three years ago, Frank Gallinelli's What Every Real Estate Investor Needs to Know About Cash Flow and will complete it before months end.  2) I will attend a RE class beginning in August and 3). remain active on BP.

I'm looking forward to learning and growing with each of you.
