New but commited from San Diego

I have no true experience in real estate aside from searching San Diego for a home. Finding a home here has been challenging so I have shifted my focus and savings to investing in real estate outside of my local area. I'm in the process of aggressively educating myself in the various avenues of real estate investment and the different domestic markets. Right now Im very interested in applying the BRRR method to multi family housing. My goal is to make my first deal over the next year and see where it takes me. Any tips regarding resources for continued learning in this specific area of investment as well as any personal advice are more than welcome/appreciated!
