Help on wholesaling contracts and closing in California

Hello,

I don't normally do forums but I convinced my self to give it a try. I'm having trouble understanding the process of legal wholesaling in California. I just spoke to a title company representative not to long ago and she informed me that in order to do a double closing, both contracts had to have the same sale price in order for the deal to close. Why is that and is their any other way around this?

I'm also looking to connect with local wholesalers around the east Bay area: Hayward, Castro Valley, San Leandro, Oakland, Union City. Lets work together and get to the money...
