Seasoned VC, new to Real Estate.

Hi all,

My name's John Henry. I am a NYC based tech entrepreneur and Venture Capitalist.

I started my first company, an on-demand laundry service, at the age of 18. Built it up and was successfully acquired a few years later. Since then, I've started several companies included a non-profit, hosting a podcast for eBay and more recently -- a Real Estate Tech Venture Capital Fund -- AREA.

I was approached by one of New York City's dynasty real estate families, The Rose Family, to spearhead a new project they created. Essentially, we invest in cutting edge technology that aims to make the Real Estate industry more effective. Here's an article announcing our first six investments.

Anyhow, somewhere in this process I've developed a passion for Real Estate. I'm not new to investing, as I currently manage a small $3MM venture capital fund for startup technology companies -- but I am totally new at investing in Real Estate.

I've yet to buy my first property, but am currently very interested in Multi Families in the Allentown, PA market. NYC is too expensive for me at the moment, but my parents live in PA so it's a great option.

I have $50,000 (give or take) in cash that I'd like to sink on a good property. The more units the better!

Anyhow, I'm incredibly excited to get started!! Will soak up any knowledge or tips on buying first properties as I can.

Say 'hello'! Would love to connect :)

Best,

JH
