Hello all!

I have been on Bigger Pockets for almost a year now! I have really been enjoying reading through forums, listening to podcasts (I highly recommend episode 180), and just taking in as much as I can about Real Estate Investment. Thought it was time for first post and introduction.

Born and raised in Littleton, CO. I am currently a student at CU in Boulder, Colorado. My degree will be in Information Management and I am also pursuing the Real Estate certificate which will lead to the CO broker's exam upon graduation (May 2017).

Although I love CO and the metro Denver area, I am not thinking it is the ideal location for someone like me who hopes to begin building a portfolio over the next 40+ years, however that could change if I meet the right people. I anticipate that I will look to other markets (away from the metro area) once the day comes to strike that first deal, which I am truly excited for.

My father has worked in Real Estate for 30 years and my long term goal is to partner up with him and work together in acquiring rental properties and hopefully knock out some wholesale/development/any other kind of deals along the way.

I am very much looking forward to taking advantage of the resources and networking opportunities that Bigger Pocket provides.

Best of luck to everyone on their journey!
