Hello all!
My name is Ryan, and I live in the San Fernando Valley. I currently work as an EMT. Although I like my job, I finally admitted to myself that my true calling may be REI. Ever since I was a child my favorite board game was Monopoly. It's funny because even as a youngster I can remember coming up with creative deals just to survive a few more "pass go's." While some of the concepts from Monopoly are practical, I realize that there is much more to REI in the real world. That is why I am reading as much as I can about the subject. I have read a few money/business books as a base (Think and grow rich, Richest man in Babylon, Rich dad poor dad, You're broke because you want to be, etc). As far as getting my feet wet, I have been pricing homes and rents in my area. I am also very interested in finding a mentor. So if anyone invests in the SFV and wouldn't mind conveying some knowledge, please contact me. Thank you all! BTW, this forum has been amazing!
