Newbie Looking to Invest in Northern Michigan

Hello Bigger pockets Community,

I am new to real estate investing and am considering properties in Northern Michigan, specifically in Newaygo County.  I was wondering if anyone on here has any experience flipping or doing vacation rentals in this particular area and could offer any advice on what to look for in a potential investment properties there.
