Hello everyone! I'm ready to get involved with real estate investing and bring some financial freedom to the family.  I own an asset recovery company and spend a lot of time researching  deeds and locating people to help claim their money.  I'm nervous, but ready to put what I know to work. The hardest part has been to "do" but I am working on that.  The Atlanta market is really booming and it's just time to get started. Thanks for reading!

@Trining R.

Welcome Atlanta is in the top 10 US markets for student housing.

You might consider Niche or Specialized Housing like student housing. Rents can be 2-4 times more. Remember you don't have to own a property to control it.

Locate and attend 3 different local REIA club meetings great place to meet people gather resources and info. Here you will meet wholesalers who provide deals and rehabbers (cash buyers). Find them through Google and meetup.com

Two Great reads, I bought both J. Scott The Book on Flipping Houses, The Book on Estimating ReHab Costs http://www.biggerpockets.com/flippingbook

I look forward to learning from your future posts.

Paul
