Hi my name is Daniel,

I am a 38yo father looking to replace my earned income over time. Just like you folks, I am here to introduce myself and network with other fellow investors.  Since I was working nightshift as a new graduate out of college, I realized I was working way to hard for my money and was not going anywhere fast as a single man in his early 20's. In 2002, I came to realize how does one support a family with these long hours of working fulltime at night?  Unsustainable.

After reading books and studying the rich,  I was curious about RE.  Never really had a mentor, I just went to my local RE club meetings and tried to get advice and ideas on how to create wealth. And in 2002 I bought my first property.  It was $30,000 a condo in Texas and I caught the RE investment bug.

16 years later I have a loving wife and 2 little munchins, I want to take my RE investing to the next level. I listen to these guest on BP podcasts and am amazed at their accomplishments and commend them for being successful in RE. I to want that for me and my family.  Balancing out our family finances is a constant thought in my head-always looking where I can cut costs to save more for buying properties.  How I can optimize my buy and hold investment strategy and study other individuals who have similar situations.  These questions and others have brought me to BP forums.

Anyone that can relate, please chime in.
