Hello from Boston - notes, anyone?

Hello BP,

My name is Rich, and I am starting my journey into real estate. I grew up in Bucks County PA, went to college in the state, and moved to Boston last summer to start working. I have been reading the BP forums, checking out other sources, and been listening to the podcast for a while now.

I am fascinated with mortgage note investing (non-performing), as it allows for nationwide investing, scalability, and the flexibility to make your business as active or passive as you like (similar to other real estate investment strategies, I am sure). I also find the financial aspect and associated due diligence fascinating. I’ve been listening to great podcasts – shout-out to Note MBA – and reading as much as I can about the business. My goal is to take the next step of buying my first note in the coming months, hopefully with the advice or partnership from someone more experienced.

If you are in the Boston area and would be willing to talk real estate, let me buy you lunch. Or if you are interested or experienced in note investing, please drop me a line.
