New to RE Houston!

Hey y'all my name is Thomas Kozuch and I'm based in Houston, Texas! I recently got back from a trip to  Phoenix where my best friend started to talk to me about a few of his investment goals and I was hooked. I googled real estate investing and stumbled upon this website. Ever since Ive spent a lot of my free time reading articles and books about investing. 

I currently work for Chevron Phillips in Sweeny, Texas as an operator. 

I guess my 1st goal is to purchase my own home. I'm tired of apartments and throwing my money away every year. After that I would love to flip homes, rent properties  and possibly even wholesale. 

Any ideas or tips would be greatly appreciated seeing that I'm as green as they get it. I'm thrilled to be apart of this community and I'm very excited to start my real estate journey!

Locate and attend 3 different local REIA club meetings great place to meet people gather resources and info. Here you will meet wholesalers who provide deals and rehabbers (cash buyers). Find them through Google and meetup.com
