Hi, my name is Don from near L.A. I just recently attended a 3-day real estate investment session provided through Scott Yancey's organization. This was just an introduction for a nominal fee. There was an upsell for advanced training for $25K for which I did not sign up. They covered a number of topics and there was a lot of good information. Initially, the investment opportunity for which I am interested is trust deeds. The instructor was mentioning a return of about 12% for which he had some of his own money invested. Can anyone suggest a source for where to buy good quality TDs as I would use my IRA for purchasing them. Also, any books about TD investing would be greatly appreciated. I'm thinking about possibly entering the note business for which I would need training. So far I've seen training from Scott Carson, Eddie Speed, and Darren Eady and was wondering about the best way to get started.

Thanks.
