Hi everybody.  My wife and I are looking to buy our first investment property.  We are pretty conservative.  We are considering a 2 family home to buy and hold for income.

I'm a professional handyman, so a fixer upper kind of seems like the obvious way to go.  But, I don't do much remodeling.  I do handyman jobs like setting up inflatable swimming pools, installing window A/C units, and cleaning gutters.  The skills don't totally translate.   But I am pretty well equipped to do a lot of the maintenance as it comes up.
