Hello bigger pockets,

I'm a recent college graduate with bachelors' degrees in finance and innovation & entrepreneurship. I'm starting my job now in corporate finance, but I'm also looking to start investing in real estate on side. I'm hoping to begin building something that will sustain itself and eventually allow me to pursue real estate investing full time.

I'm currently researching multi-family and SFRs in both the Akron and Cleveland area markets with a buy and hold philosophy in mind. I was born and raised around Akron, but I am now working downtown Cleveland so I'm interested in selecting one of these areas to invest. I'm currently reading a ton of books on investing and spending just as much time researching it online via biggerpockets forums, blogs, podcasts, etc.

I'm interested in local events, connecting and networking with other local investors, and bouncing ideas off each other and helping where I can. I'm hoping to start narrowing down where I want to invest in the next month or so and make my first purchase.  Thanks!
