Hi Everyone, 

I've been in education for the past 14 years. I currently coach other teachers. I've purchased 3 homes, and after the last one, my real estate agent invited me to join her team. It's been a wild ride so far! I've been licensed in Kansas since January 2016, and just got licensed in Missouri this month. Eventually, in addition to being an agent, I'd like to buy several properties of my own. If you had a non-business path ro REI, I'd love to hear what helped you get you started!

I too recommend using the resources here on Bigger Pockets, but also check out your local Real Estate Investment Group - there is one that meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month in Overland Park.

Great place to connect and chat with over 100 investors every month.  

Plus there are a bunch of smaller groups that meet as well.
