As the title states, I am a rookie. However, I am excited to continue to learn and of course make some extra money. Real Estate has always interested me even when I was a young buck. My father is retired Army and every other year we moved from house to house around the country. I realized then that real estate was the place to be.

Fast forward 18 years and I am now in the Public Safety Field (clearly did not chase the money). I am in the community every day seeing opportunities whether they are FSBO, 'pre', and foreclosing homes. I have even had people jokingly say, "I can't live in this neighborhood anymore. Will you buy my house for what I owe on it." Knowing what little bit I have learned now, I wish I would have wrote him a check on the spot.

I am excited to continue to learn and meet other excited investors. Hopefully, there are a few people out there that need a little help finding homes before they hit the MLS.
