Hi,

My name is Marque LaBlanc. I am 24 years old living in the Grand Rapids MI. I have been working full time at a manufacturing company for 5 years. Me being young still I felt that I still have the opportunity to chase my goals of becoming a real estate agent. Right now I'm taking courses from Real Estate Leadership Academy and would like to learn more from BiggerPockets Inc.

@Marque LaBlanc Welcome to BP! I am a local Realtor here in GR. This is a tough market to jump into as a new agent with no experience and no leads. The brokers won't give you any leads and you will have to work hard to get them. I would plan on keeping your day job and moonlighting as a Realtor till you get busy enough to justify leaving. I have been working a day job and moonlighting as a Realtor for over 2 years now and I am just now getting to the point where I am ready to break free from my job.  Good luck, hard work and persistence is the key to becoming successful.
