Hello all, I am looking to network with people in my area, here in and around Atlanta, GA.  I am brand new, and looking to get started on owning rental properties.  I look forward to any tips or suggestions to getting started.  I was led here by 'The Book on Rental Property Investing' by, Brandon Turner.  Thanks for reading my post!

Welcome aboard Zach :)  You will find a lot of great information and fellow investors on this site.

1.Pick an area you are familiar with and get to know the values of the properties and rents so that when a deal comes across your plate you will know it's an actual deal.

2.Find a property manager by interviewing several, unless you are going to attempt to manage yourself - I don't recommend if you are just starting out.

3.Join the Atlanta REI they have a lot of educational and networking events.

4.Read Brandon's book - a lot of helpful information in there to get started!

Success,
