Rookie in Marin County, California that loves living spaces

Hi All:

I know, it's kind of a strange subject line, but let me explain.  I've always been intrigued by the idea of houses and residences and the spaces we live in.  There are thousands of neighborhoods in different climates, and with different surroundings.  Sunny beaches to misty forests, each abode seems to have it's own character shaped by its surroundings and how the walls are placed.  I think it's enchanting to look for that character and to bring it out for someone to enjoy it.

My name is Dave Chang, and I'm excited to be here on BP.  I grew up on the island of O'ahu, HI, but have lived in Northern and Southern California for the last 18 years now.  I currently own a home in Larkspur which is about 15 minutes north of the Golden Gate Bridge.

I currently work full time as a Revenue Accounting Manager for a software company in San Francisco, and am just now beginning my real estate investment education.  So far, I've only read The Book on Rental Property Investing by your favorite podcast co-host, which incidentally, is how I found out about BP.

I've always been interested in real estate investing and am now exploring whether this is a viable option and a good fit for me to accomplish a few of my goals around financial security.

Thanks for reading this intro and I'm looking forward to making your acquaintance!
