UK based, PhD student seeking mentorship and advice

Dear all, My name is Dimitar and I'm working on my PhD in Civil/Structural Engineering. Recently I realized that career path in academia is not my cup of tea so I started digging into the real estate investing opportunities. I have set some personal and financial goals to follow and build up starting capital, however, I really need some professional advice and help on this new adventure. I have experience with 1-1 mentoring schemes and I really enjoy workshadowing an experienced person in the field. I'm very motivated, grown up individual, who would like to apply his analytical and problem solving skills and is eager to learn the REI from a-b-c. Any help is greatly appreciated.
