New member from Florida

Hey BiggerPockets!

I'm Brian Giddens, a new member to BiggerPockets, and I'm interested in learning about Real Estate and hope to invest on the side while I work a finance job.

I'm a current student in college studying business and accounting, and I'm currently doing a marketing internship. My near-future goals include graduating next year, getting a finance job, and having the company sponsor me to go back and earn my MBA. I would also like to become a CPA, but that is further down the road.

Regarding real estate, I've listened to the first 9 BP podcasts, and I'm starting to read the BP Ultimate Beginners Guide as well as check out some books for reading. I plan on joining the Real Estate Club we have on campus this Fall to network and meet others who are passionate about this field.

I'm a person who enjoys learning all that they can so that they can benefit their community to the best of their abilities and help others, so I'm super excited to be here!

I'm always willing to listen to those who know more than me, or just to hear a different viewpoint, so if you're in my local area, or if you just want to chat, I'm available!
