New member looking to buy out of state

I am a complete noob at real estate, seriously don't know the first thing about getting started. But that's why I'm here. We are planning to move out of state soon and I want to get started in real estate. I plan to buy properties in need of work, fixing them, and rent them out. I do home remodels and can fix just about anything so I don't see that as a problem. My wife has managerial experience and can deal with the tenants. I'm here to see how I can get investors for our new venture.
