Time for a change

37 years old, 4 kids, good job in Cleburne, TX (30 min south of Fort Worth). All that equals living paycheck to paycheck with no significant savings to speak of. I've rented out our house one time and it was a god-awful experience and I swore I'd never do it again. In the past month, I've listened to probably 20-30 hours of podcasts (this one and Clayton Morris') and am back on board. This seems to be the best way to start building a legacy of wealth for my family. My main interest is buy and hold, but flipping seems interesting as well. I have NO construction skills, so I'm looking forward to learning from the vast backgrounds and experiences on Bigger Pockets on how to get this going.
