Newbie - Vancouver Canada - Starting to buy and hold

Hey BP community!  Joined this past week, have listened to 5 podcasts and spent a few hours on the site.  Clearly haven't even scratched the surface but have found it EXTREMELY valuable. Thanks to @Joshua Dorkin and all for creating and curating this space! 

A bit about me: mid 30's bought a primary residence with land recently and have quickly built up some equity to start leveraging .  Looking to buy and hold in the lower mainland (Greater Vancouver Area in BC/ Canada).  Looking at $100-$200K single family homes/ units to start.  @Arthur Garcia you've been a huge help already through BBP Ep 06!  

Goals: 1 home by EOY, 3 by end of 2017 and 10 by 2020!

Have already posted in a thread about a group that has just started meeting up locally so hope to get involved there.  Look forward to connecting with many of you over time.

Hi @Jeff Appleby  we missed you at the last Vancouver meetup members. I know @Matthew Jarvis and I are scheduling another soon.

Would be interesting to see how those 1bd rm cash flow when you include your home equity interest payments also that you are using to buy the place. Most of my partners use their home equity to generate residual income on short term deals we do and then use that profit to invest in passive income properties.
