New Member from Kansas City area

Hello BP world! I live in Basehor, KS (Kansas city suburb) and have absolutely no real estate experience except buying my primary residence. We bought an estate sale that needed updating and have learned a lot through the remodel process by doing the wrong thing. I served 8 years active duty Navy and I'm currently in the reserves, reading investment books while deployed is where my real estate interests started. My goal is to get the wife's student loan paid off, then start building a real estate portfolio. As of right now I'm interspersed in buy and hold local. I could go on forever but I look forward to learning more from the BP world.
