My name is Jared and I admittedly know absolutely NOTHING about real estate investing! I have a background in sales, but recently my wife and I have began talking about getting involved in real estate.  We obviously love the idea of being financially free, and I would rather work for myself. 

We're just trying to gain as much knowledge as possible before we "get in over our heads" without a clue of what's going on.  Right now we are just trying to soak up as much information as possible so we can eventually pull the trigger on our first property. We're interested in owning multi family units and flipping.
