Newer Member in CT interested in VA/NC

Currently living in CT but we are planning on moving either tho Virginia or North Carolina next summer. Would like to start out my investing career with some flips the get things rolling and to make some returns quickly and then ultimately get into rental units, starting with smaller multifamily houses and eventually larger apartment complexes. Currently on workers comp and while I am physically unable to work, have been using as many tools and resources I can here on BP.
