New member in east/central florida. Bought a house in 2011
Hey everyone, heard this was the right place to be for real estate investing.
Im 27 years old, hoping to find the right guidance for my investment. I had saved some money from living with my parents but it was just laying here doing nothing after having maxed out my IRAs. So i decided to purchase a house and move out. I paid 39k for a 1400sq ft 3br/2bath house and it seems to be worth around 120-125k now based on similar homes being sold in my area from late last year to now.
Now I find my self in a similar situation with having this equity sitting there doing nothing. My gut is telling me to sell and wait for prices to fall and pay for a house in cash. My short term goal would be to have a house paid off and a room or two rented so i can save enough for a down payment on a rental property.
