New to BP from Houston, TX

My name is Chris Teter, and I live with my wife and 2 kids near Houston, Tx. I've dabbled very little in real estate but have a growing desire to learn the trade full time. I have owned as many as 6 properties, and currently own 3 (including our primary residence, a rental, and vacant land). I first started just before the crash in '08' and got spooked. We made it through it better than many of the horror stories. I am, however, leery of all the vast programs available to learn the "secrets" that promise to make people money in real estate. I am looking forward to learning here on BP, developing relationships, growing, and sharing with the rest of this community!
