Hi all!

I've only joined this forum recently and wanted to introduce myself. I'm completely new to REI. I focused my 20s on building a certain number of service businesses and haven't looked at any other opportunities since.

Now that the businesses are somewhat successful and can run without me working on them 24/7 i'm looking to diversify my revenue streams. I have some cash saved up and feel like looking into REI as it has always been something of interest to me.

My concerns are finding the right location to invest in (not too far from home but not overpriced like Toronto is) and figuring out the various regulations around REI (tax benefits, etc) and financing.

Ideally i'd like to partner up with a seasoned mentor living in Toronto for my first few deals but i'm a self learner so if that doesn't happen i'll soak up all the knowledge i can from BP and figure it out :)

Hope to be making meaningful and fruitful connections on this site.

Happy Friday!

Hello @Tim Grassin and let me be the first to welcome you to BP. BP is a great place to go for real estate investing. It has everything you need from networking with other investors to accessing free information such as online videos and courses on REI. The possibilities are endless!
