Hi! I am a Commercial/Industrial transactions attorney in Chicago and will be moving to the Kalamazoo area in 3-5 years. I am planning to begin investing in real estate there before then and continue to grow when I get there. My goal in the next year is to acquire a single family rental home to begin. Hi Everyone, thanks for the warm welcome and support. Since I posted this 2 years ago, I thought I'd give an update. I purchased a single family and a duplex next to each other. I fixed up the units enough to get them rented and they're doing great! I'll begin searching for my next unit(s) soon.
