Future investor, learning

Hello BP. Im Troy Peters and its time to start something new, time to change my life, time to take a huge leap into what I know is my future.

So, a week and a half ago, upon leaving Dallas to head home to Cypress, TX, I was feeling down about not having the control I wanted.  I wasted time and money in the DFW are, as my project installation for window treatments were not ready to be installed...so at 75mph headed southbound on I-45, I found the podcast.  Started at 1, now Im on podcast 48, and the wealth of info is addicting.

I can write a novel in this post. So I'm 35, an independent contractor for multiple companies that do window tinting projects to window treatments. I sold my window tinting company last year bc my wife became a realtor and I couldn't keep up with sales and installs, so we sold. In two weeks, I will enroll in realtor school to hopefully come back here and offer some local non-realtors my time in giving info (I currently live on the MLS watching and searching) towards comps, searches, listings, or sellings to gain some extra "how its done" real-time knowledge.

Keeping this short, I will be trolling the forums.  I may not post much, as Im not ready to leap.  Ive got some debt I would like to pay off before opening the door.  Right or wrong, this is the way I would feel most comfortable, at least until my wife can sustain our household.

So hello!
