Aspiring Real Estate Investor

Hello,

I'm an aspiring real estate investor living in Auburn Hills, MI. I've browsed biggetpockets.com's forums for a few months now and wanted to introduce myself so I can join in the wonderful conversations here. I'm from West Bloomfield/Waterford and have lived in the Detroit-Metro area all my life.

My goal is to have ten rental properties fully paid off and that cash flow before I'm 50 years old. I would also like to be able to find, analyze and purchase properties without the help of an agent, title company, or lawyer before the end of the year. Along the way, I would also like to help as many people as I can realize that they can achieve financial freedom through investing.

I'm a total square, spending most of my free-time reading about real estate, the economy, politics, and every so often wasting my time with video games. I enjoy reading sci-fi novels and books about finance/investing. I'm a new alumnus from Oakland University and will be starting at GM's Detroit-Hamtramck Assembly Plant as an Industrial Engineer this summer.

I'm looking forward to meeting new people on this forum, both in an outside of my area, and learning from and contributing to it's discussions.

-Bruce
