Hey Everyone!

My name is Ziyad and I have just joined BiggerPockets!

I live in the UK with my wonderful wife, Huda, and we are both PhD Students at the University of Nottingham.

Huda is working on helping cure brain cancer, and I am working on using wireless technology to give blind people more independence in future cities.

We have basically 0 real estate experience, but are very willing to learn. I found out about the community from picking up a copy of "The book on rental property investing" by bigger pockets at is is very useful. We are also reading the "real estate for dummies" book along side it.

We are currently interested in soaking up as much information as possible for rental investing and looking to by our first property in late 2017.

I am really looking forward to meeting all of you and working together towards a better future :)
