Investor with buy and hold experience in San Francisco.
Hello all,
I have experience buying properties in San Francisco and in the East Bay to live in and renovate. I had a condo that my husband and I bought and renovated in 2012, lived in for three years then sold for profit. We then bought a house in the Berkeley area that was inhabited for the last 20 years by a hoarder. That one we renovated and then sold recently. Now, we are getting ready to do work on our current home and need to look for a second property close to work, which we can live in for a year and then rent. We are both here looking for more advice on buy and hold properties in San Francisco/Bay Area and possibly looking into buying income properties in Southern California as well.

@Carolina Solorzano welcome to BP! The Bay Area is one of the best places to be for its own very special reasons. Looks like you have some great experience under your belt. Try and make it out to a local BP Meetup and tell everyone what you are trying to accomplish. For some reason, good things happen when you just let people know you want them to.
