Looking to invest in MFP in greater Sacramento Area

Hello,

I am soon moving to the Sacramento area and I am looking to use my VA loan to buy a multi-family property (preferably 3-4 units) in the July-August time frame. I intend to home hack for at least the first year. Any guidance on good real estate agents who I can work with to find a suitable area and price range would be greatly appreciated. I am also interested in learning about investing groups in the area I could join. I am new to real estate investing and still looking to learn. In my "real life" I am an active duty Air Force JAG (attorney).
