I'm new to the idea of real estate investing, holding down a nice 9-5 as a computer programmer in the Collin County area of DFW. My current priority is building a solid base of education. My current roadmap is toward cashflow, using my income to generate capital and allow for conventional financing for single family buy and hold rentals, rolling up into multifamily and possibly commercial.  I see my next steps as learning who's who, and what's what in my area, while picking up my real estate license to gain the utility it provides.
