My name is Jeremiah Hatton. I am currently not an REI, but interested in becoming one someday. I have recently quit 1 of 2 full-time jobs and have, what seems to be, a bunch of free time! My wife and I are in the process of building a house, with us being the general contractors. We hope to gain an understanding of building construction and prices to help us with our future endeavors in REI. I plan on also obtaining an inspectors license, which I think will help me better evaluate potential investment properties. My wife and I watch a ton of HGTV and think we can do this, but we are cautious and want to educate ourselves first.
