I was raised to go to school, work a career for 30 + years and enjoy my retirement package but I want to learn as much as possible to succeed in real-estate and investing. I'm working as a registered nurse but feel like real-estate is a great way to live better than comfortably and further be financially stable. I live in Brooklyn, NY and feel like the cost of houses is unreasonable high and the ones that are in my price range are not in the best neighborhoods. From my research so far, my game plan is to purchase a house with a FHA loan and possibly use a government assistance program to find tenets like a section 8 or HOPWA. However I am new to real-estate and appreciate any advice or knowledge I receive that will help me prosper.
