New member from New York

Greeting All,

I am a new member to BP and am writing to introduce myself to the community. A friend of mine, who is an investor in the D.C/Maryland area, suggested that it would be beneficial for me to get involved with this community of investors.

I currently reside in the East Harlem neighborhood of New York City, and I'm looking to start investing in the neighborhood (hopefully I'm not too late).

I would love to connect with investors that are currently investing or have invested in the New York market and learn from your experience. Any insights and advice would be extremely valuable to a beginner like me. Initially, I'm interested in low/no money investing in multi-family homes that I can renovate and rent. As I get more experienced I would like to get into flipping and house hacking.

Sorry for rambling on. Take it as the excitement of a beginner.
