Hello from Huntersville NC
Hello everybody,
I'm Tom Kirchner.I'm just learning about commercial real estate.I have taken one home study course and been all over the internet trying to soak up information.I'm interested in learning more with the help of some very knowledgeable people like yourselves.
My main goal is to work with commercial properties.Mainly to buy undervalued or under performing properties at a discount and resell for a large profit.
I look forward to hearing from many of you,and wish you all great success in real estate journey.
Hello Tom, Welcome to BiggerPockets. What type of commercial properties do you want to get into? Multi-unit apartments, office space, retail space, warehouses, etc? Thanks for registering on the site.

Hello Michael,
To be honest I haven't narrowed down what a good niche might be for me.The little knowledge I have is related to self storage and mobile home parks, but I'd like to learn about all types of property.
Tom
Hi Tom,
Welcome to the group. There's good money to be made by purchasing the right mobile parks and self storage facilities. Your knowledge may be worth more than you think.
Welcome to the site. I also want to find some multi family projects with upside potential. Can pay cash for those interested. Rich.
Good to have you here! Welcome!
Welcome Tom,
I am pretty new here myself, but I have 20 years experience consulting on commercial real estate. First thing you need is focus. Most successful commercial investors stay in one property type, like office buildings. The reason is that experience makes every acquisition easier and if you have several properties in the same market, then you can spread the expenses, such as purchasing power for building supplies, legal fees if you use the same lease in all your properties, management fees...and the list goes on. You also need to make sure you get on the radar screen of commercial brokers so they think of you when they get a listing. Good luck.
