Hello everyone, hope you are all having a great day.  My name is Dennis VanHouten.  I was born in Newburgh, NY and grew up in Port Jervis, NY where I'm still living and planning to start my real estate investing.  I'm U.S. Army vet. with 4 years of honorable service, 15 months of which I was deployed to northern Iraq.  I'm a college student currently, working towards an associate's in computer science and unmanned aerial vehicle technician.  I have no experience in real estate besides my parents owning their own home as well as the 10 acre family farm back in the Philippines.  My goals with real estate investing is to be able to spend more time with my family by creating a sustainable cash flow that will, also, allow myself to branch out into other investing opportunities.  I'm interested in doing wholesaling, fix and flips, buy and holds, single-family, multi-family, commercial, and creative investing deals.  I'm looking to connect with a realtor, attorney, mortgage broker, hard money lender, private money lender, contracting teams, title company/agent and insurance agent to build my investing team.  Watching videos on youtube brought me to the BiggerPockets community.
