Saving and learning

Hey guys, I'm very new to real estate. I've been investing in stocks and currencies for about 7 or 8 years, and I've always been interested in expanding into real estate, but the money was never there for me to get serious about it. I'm currently finishing up licensing requirements and will be starting a career as a financial adviser soon which will bring in some decent money, so I figured I should learn the basics while I start saving up for my first purchase.
I've listened to a couple episodes of the podcast, and this website seems like an awesome place to get started.
